NOTICE: ALL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Even if you have been receiving the LBF scholarship under the old system, you must send in a new personal information form and increase your giving to the new amount. If you wait until January to increase your giving and the quota is filled, we will not be able to give you the scholarship for the Spring semester. Those who are already enrolled in the DLP under the LBF and do not increase their monthly giving to the new amount before December 13th will be dropped from the scholarship program. We are giving the scholarships out on a first come first served basis and when we have given out 2.5 million dollars in scholarships we will start a waiting list for supporting churches and when an opening occurs will plug in the churches in the order they were received.

GREAT BOARD MEETING

On Thursday, November 7th, 2008 we had a great board meeting and interviewed and approved four new church planters which brings to 31 the number of churches planted in a year. They are:
Jesse Noel Caro, planting Encounter Church in Greensboro, NC
John Allen, planting Hope Aglow Fellowship Church in Lynchburg, VA
J.R. Lee, planting Freedom Church in Acworth, GA
Shane Craven, planting Origin Church in Ringgold, GA
